Kendall Lam, MBA
President
Kendall Lam is currently a management consultant in Deloitte's Healthcare practice and has a personal passion for mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing. He brings strategy & operations professional expertise to DBSA California. As someone who supports friends and family that suffer from serious mental illness, Kendall is a strong advocate for mental health services especially peer support to decrease loneliness and share collective hope.
Amy Lombardi, PhD
Treasurer and Chief Administrative Officer
​Amy holds a PhD in Linguistics from UC Davis and has taught College Writing since 2004. Inspired by the compassion and wisdom of peers in DBSA San Francisco, she began facilitating support groups in 2022. Amy is dedicated to raising the profile of DBSA throughout California, supporting facilitators, and developing the peer specialist workforce.

She is a dancer, yoga practitioner, and meditator who believes that optimal health is always an integration of the physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual. Amy lives in Santa Cruz with her husband and teenage daughter.

Krish Farol-Schenck

Krishna Farol-Schenck (they/she) is a marketing and communications professional in content strategy, digital storytelling, and mission-driven campaigns. They specialize in creating authentic content that amplifies underrepresented voices, strengthens connection, and inspires action. Currently, Krish is getting their AA in Early Childhood Education with dreams to inspire future generations on the importance of community.
Krish was a previous DBSA community member, having sought out peer-led groups after being diagnosed as Bipolar II. They understand the importance of community and are excited to be a part of such an incredible organization!
Outside of work, Krish brings their love of storytelling into tabletop RPGs and creative community spaces. They live in the San Francisco Bay Area with their partner, toddler, and a menagerie of pets.
Christa Phillips, MS
Board Member

Christa is a therapist, life coach, and co-founder of Aligned Potential Collective, where she helps individuals overcome imposter syndrome, discover their purpose, and align their lives with their goals. She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and a partner with a nonprofit supporting students who have lost their mothers. As the co-host of the podcast Journey 2 The Mind, Christa shares insights on mental health, inspired by her lived experience with Bipolar I and anxiety. She joined the board of DBSA California to support its mission of empowering those navigating mental health challenges.


Jorge Abadin, MA
Board Member

Jorge Abadin is a humanitarian and mental health advocate. He currently serves as the Community Relations and Operations Manager at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) of Los Angeles. With expertise in operations, development, grants management, outreach and communications, and NGO supply chain management- he is a nonprofit "jack-of-all-trades."
​
​He first found DBSA in the midst of his struggle with Anxiety and Major Depressive Disorder. DBSA's support groups served as such an integral part of his recovery, so he is grateful to have found a way to give back to the organizations that we there for him.
​
Jorge is originally from New Orleans. He loves to sew, embroider, cook, and read.

Caroline Fraissinet, Ed.D

Dr. Caroline Fraissinet is a 2025 DBSA Outstanding Peer Leader Award recipient, serves on the Board of Directors for DBSA California, and facilitates peer support meetings with DBSA City of Angels. She is the founder of Career Wavelength, a career coaching practice that bridges mental health awareness and career development—helping professionals design careers aligned with their individual needs, values, and life circumstances. Caroline earned her doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership, researching barriers to equitable career access. Caroline lives with cyclothymia, OCD and ADHD.
